SEVILLE Grove’s Champion Centre and Library are set to be upgraded with a $4 million Lotterywest grant.

Premier Mark McGowan presented the grant to the City of Armadale on Friday to improve the facilities at Bob Blackburn Reserve.

“With a local population that is currently growing at more than double the state average, I have no doubt the revitalisation of this space will serve the Armadale community in to the future,” Mr McGowan said.

The Champion Centre’s building design will be upgraded to enhance their services and programs, and the Seville Grove Library will provide space for access to a digital hub, aiming to improve literacy and help people get ready to start work.

Outdoor areas around the buildings will be upgraded with Aboriginal art, a yarning circle, edible gardens and more.
