Brookman House got the jump on this week’s celebrations with a free event, which included native animals, live music, a roo stew, demonstrations of making damper, live entertainment, craft activities, a bouncy castle and a sausage sizzle.

From 10am until 4pm today, the City of Armadale is holding its Naidoc Celebration Day at the Champion Centre in Seville Grove, with free entertainment, food and activities for the community.

Celebrations in the City of Gosnells began yesterday with a flag-raising ceremony.

Langford Aboriginal Association will hold a Red, Yellow and Black women’s afternoon tea for ages 16-plus this Saturday and a Dardy Upp Ball for Little Peepz aged up to 11 this Wednesday evening. Call 9451 1424 for details.
