Sixth person charged over Canning Vale violence

A SIXTH person has been charged over violence at a Canning Vale McDonald’s last year.

Armadale Detectives yesterday arrested a 29-year-old man in relation to their ongoing investigation into violence at Livingstone Marketplace that occurred on Thursday December 7.

The incident is believed to have happened prior to the death of Canning Vale teen Jacob Cummins.

The 29-year-old man has been charged with intent to do grievous bodily harm unlawfully wounds another.

He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today January 10.

Five people have been charged previously over this incident.

The others charged were:

• A 35-year-old man from Canning Vale was charged with intent to do grievous bodily harm unlawfully wounds another. He is next due to appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on January 16.

• A 14-year-old boy from Caversham was charged with two counts of aggravated bodily harm and two counts of stealing. He is due to appear in the Perth Children’s Court on January 11.

• A 16-year-old boy from Lakelands was charged with aggravated bodily harm and disorderly conduct. He is due to appear in the Armadale Children’s Court on January 22.

• A 14-year-old boy from Southern River was charged with disorderly. He is due to appear in the Armadale Children’s Court on  January 22.

• A 16-year-old boy from Bassendean was charged with disorderly. He is due to appear in the Armadale Children’s Court on February 19.
