There will also be a free sausage sizzle.

The park features a four-foot bowl, quarter pipe, taco, and a curved ledge for a portion of the structure, as well as free Wi-Fi.

Shire President John Erren said council was committed to providing facilities for young people in the area.

“Following on from the success of the Jarrahdale and Mundijong skate parks, we’re pleased to provide an area for our young people to keep physically fit and healthy while hanging out with their friends,” he said.

“It’s important that we give them every opportunity to enjoy the best that Serpentine Jarrahdale has to offer.”
