Southern River John Curtin Leadership Academy graduate helps raise funs for children with disability

SOUTHERN River Resident Annie Loo helped raise more than $700 for children with disability last month.

She co-ordinated a fun family day for children with a disability at the Lady Lawley Cottage in Cottesloe as part of the John Curtin Leadership Academy.

The 23-year-old is studying a double degree in psychology human resource management and industrial relations.

The event raised awareness of Lady Lawley Cottage’s services, fundraised and recruited 49 volunteers.

Lady Lawley Cottage has supported children living with disadvantage, illness or disability in Western Australia for more than 100 years.

Ms Loo graduated from the academy on November 4.
