POLICE have charged a Southern River self-defence trainer with multiple sexual assaults after an investigation.
Police allege the offending occurred between 2013 and 2018 when the man indecently assaulted women while working as a trainer at a self-defence facility in Southern River.
A 43-year-old man has been charged with nine counts of indecent assault, two counts of sexual penetration without consent, two counts of possessing a controlled weapon and two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon.
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
