City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said the exclusive reveal of the shoes and dress featuring Noongar artwork is a proud moment for locals.

“This is the first time that the City has had world famous, international designers showcase their designs at the show,” he said.

The shoes were designed using the artwork of Noongar man Peter Farmer, who was approached to feature his artwork.

The fashion show will also feature models wearing creations from upcoming local WA designers from Curtin University CUBE, alongside renowned local designer Gail Thompson.

Tickets are available to purchase online at www.visitarmadale.com.au or at the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.
