Araluen Botanic Park in Roleystone held a range of Bandicoot-themed activities for school children last Thursday
Volunteers conducted discovery trails, clay modelling, craft sessions and educational activities in the park’s picturesque gardens.
The sessions will be held again this Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
Araluen Botanic Park Foundation manager Rod Ross said the activities were a great way of engaging children in educational and environment-friendly adventure.
The park is open every day from 9am to 6pm.
It includes water falls, scenic bush walks, stunning gardens, heritage structures, Chalet Healy Tea Rooms and picnic areas.
The Araluen Train is also operating.
