St Jude’s students host pyjama party to casually raise funds for charities

STUDENTS at St Jude’s Catholic Primary School did not have to get dressed for school last Thursday when they hosted a pyjama party .

The students have spent the term raising money for Life Link, a charity that assists many WA charities including Centacare Employment and Training, Djooraminda, the Daydawn Advocacy Centre and Shopfront WA.

School assistant principal Darlene Min said they liked to find create and fun ways to assist others.

“Wearing PJs reminds us of the warmth and comfort everyone deserves to experience in our communities,” she said.

“At St Jude’s we have a strong focus on Social Justice and in particular we want to make sure that anyone in need in our community and WA are receiving the help they deserve.”
