The challenge of the competition was to write, edit, illustrate and bind a children’s book in 12 hours, and make a difference by raising funds to help sick children in Princess Margaret Hospital.
A group of Year 5 and 6 students took on the challenge, which was co-ordinated by English and additional lingual dialect teacher Anna Shavi.
The competition for primary school children began in 1985 and receives almost 500 entries each year.
