The not-for-profit organisation aims to help preserve threatened black cockatoo species through its rescue, rehabilitation and release programs.

It has also opened a new interactive aviary funded by donor Ida Gallop of Bayswater, to give members of the public an opportunity to learn about black cockatoos through close interaction.
