The number of students the school has sent has drastically increased over the past two years.

The school sent 50 students to the expo two years ago and 100 last year.

The Skills West expo is a careers event that enables visitors to explore the different tertiary and VET course options, traineeships and apprenticeships.

Beacon and careers co-ordinator Terry Healy said careers were an important aspect at the college.

More and more students attend this event from our school each year and this is an indication of the changing culture and focus of our students in reaching out and engaging with their career choices, he said.

These are very passionate and engaged students wanting to learn more about career and training opportunities.
