Stumped by tree clearing

Benjamin Seabrook said the 30 or so wandoo eucalypts on either side of Brookton Highway, around Lefroy Street, had been part of his daily landscape for nearly 40 years.

‘There’s not too many of them left in Roleystone where I frequent, and in urban areas there are very few,’ he said.

‘It’s very densely settled around that particular area and I think we need to save these trees for their intrinsic value.’

Armadale Rotary Club president Joe Kalajzich also contacted the Comment News.
