Forty business leaders under the age of 40 are recognised at the awards each year.
Benjamin Avila, of Bio Organics in Oakford, also received an award.
Mr DeKok said Floraco was started by his parents 30 years ago and he took over as managing director after their retirement six years ago.
The business includes the growing facility in Forrestdale and two wholesale outlets in the city, employing about 90 staff.
‘Last financial year, we had our best turnover and profitability year on record,’ Mr DeKok said.
‘My life motto is the Walt Disney saying ‘keep moving forward’. I live by this on a day to day basis in all I do.’
