The Year 6 student raised $1600 in sponsorship money to shave his head, and the school held a ‘crazy hair’ day in support of his efforts, raising another $1000 in gold coin donations.

‘So many people are suffering with this disease and I’m hoping that money raised for the Leukaemia Foundation will help find a cure and end the suffering,’ Taj said.

Teacher Stephen Davis said that the school was ‘enormously proud’ of Taj and his efforts.
