The fundraiser will allow the not-for-profit organisation to continue its low-cost counselling, services and groups and events that promote heart health, good nutrition and exercise.

The service, which supports 2000 women and families every year, is already preparing for the Dash on March 1, 2015, at Champion Lakes.

Participants, wearing red dresses, can walk or run a five-km or 10-km course. There will be entertainment for all ages, as well as an alcohol-free after-party at Champion Lakes amphitheatre. Prams and children are welcome.
