Officers also charged a Harrisdale man with two counts of burglary, and with stealing and possessing ammunition.

He appeared at Perth Magistrates Court last Wednesday and was remanded on bail, to appear again at Armadale Magistrates Court today.

‘A portion of the jewellery has been recovered and further inquiries remain to locate the remaining property believed discarded,’ Sgt Underwood said.

‘It is pleasing to receive information from the community, which often helps to build the picture.’

He urged residents to continue calling Crime Stoppers with information or to visit the station.
