The campaign will run over four weeks and is designed to highlight the City's attractions, including Araluen Botanic Park and the Elizabethan Village Pub, which don't always get much attention.

During the last campaign in February, people were encouraged to take a photo somewhere in the City and upload it to the City of Armadale's Facebook Page and include #TheDale to win a number of prizes, including a $5000 shopping spree.

The City aimed to have the campaign viewed 33,000 times on social media, but it exceeded all expectations with 218,000 views.

This time around, the City has teamed up with renowned WA photographer Jarrad Seng, who has worked on many high-profile artists, including Matchbox 20 and Ed Sheeran, to capture the City in a different light.

Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said Seng and a handful of other well-known Perth photographers travelled through Armadale on the weekend to take photos and upload them onto their Instagram pages as part of an exclusive Instameet (place where people meet to take photos and upload them to Instagram).

"These images will be taken from a unique perspective and the community will have to guess the location for the chance to win signed photos from Jarrad Seng of our beloved City," he said.

"This is an incredible coup for the City. To have a photographer of Jarrad's calibre get involved with #TheDale highlights the potential Armadale has and reiterates that we are a unique and vibrant community that people want to explore and be a part of."

The community is also encouraged to again take an image somewhere in #TheDale and upload it to the City's Facebook page. There will be weekly prizes and a major prize of a $5000 shopping spree.
