The recent Kennedy Baptist College graduate received a course exhibition after getting a scaled mark of 94.2 per cent for the unit.

She went on to get a WACE score of 96.7, which she didn’t expect to get.

“I thought I had done pretty well but when I found out, I was screaming at the computer,” she said. “I hadn’t expected to get that high.

“I think that score definitely bumped my WACE score up.”

The 18-year-old credited her teacher, Mrs Edward, for making the unit easy to understand and providing extra tutoring advice for her.

The strong results in the unit have also helped make a possible career choice for the 18-year-old, who plans to go to Curtin University to study international business.

“I picked it out of the blue and thought it was not common and something that would be helpful in real life,” she said.
