TWO children are in hospital after being hit by cars in two separate areas of Perth.
Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating an incident in Thornlie yesterday afternoon at 3.30pm in which a 12-year-old boy reportedly ran in front of a car.
The Holden Colorado was driving along Spencer Road at the time.
The 12-year-old boy received leg and head injuries and was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital.
The 51-year-old female driver is helping police with their inquiries.
Just 45 minutes later, a Mazda sedan was driving along The Bridgeway in Canning Vale when a four-year-old boy rode in front of the car on a scooter.
The boy was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital with injuries to his face, arms and legs.
The 17-year-old male driver of the Mazda is helping police with their inquiries.
