“Rebecca was a young mother who had a network of family and friends who cared for her,” Homicide Squad cold case detective Senior Sergeant Craig Stephen said.

“She had infrequent contact with her family, and they had formed the belief that she had relocated to the Eastern States to establish a new life.

“We believe Rebecca was the victim of a serious crime and we are working hard to establish the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

“Someone in the community will know what happened to Rebecca and we appeal to them to come forward with information.”

Ms Delalande was described as 161cm tall with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding this matter is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, where information is confidential and rewards are available.
