A WOMAN was hospitalised after being struck by a car in a hit and run in Armadale on Saturday.
Police said a woman in her 50s was walking her dog when a dark coloured sedan turned from Tait Street into Lowanna Way, lost traction and struck the woman at about 8.10pm.
The driver allegedly did not stop to check on the woman.
She was taken to hospital but it is believed she did not receive any serious injuries.
