Woman taken to RPH after being stabbed in the neck this morning

A 63-year-old man is in police custody after a serious assault in Gosnells overnight, where a woman was stabbed in the neck.

Police were called to a house on Fremantle Road at around 2am this morning, where the woman in her 40s was found with a serious neck injury.

The woman was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

The man, who is believed to be known to the woman, was arrested at the scene.
