Held at the LAA community centre, people listened to several Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women speakers talk about their diverse stories of life to the guests over lunch.

Langford Aboriginal Association manager Jill Abdullah said the young women speakers were the ambassadors to encourage youth to follow their successful pathways.

“The more mature women have already set the pathways to ensure there are opportunities for younger people,” she said.
