Bellhouse was inspired by Enid Blyton’s comment ‘One day you might write a book’, and writing has been her lifelong passion.

She has been published in multiple magazines both in Australia and the UK and has won awards for her writing.

Bellhouse said it was one of her proudest moments to be published in Writing the Dream.

“Everyone has got a book in them,” she said.

She said she always wanted to get into writing and attended university as a mature aged student and joined the Armadale Writers Group in order to write.

Laffar -Smith is an author, publisher and mother.

She said she loved bringing the joy of reading to children, exploring magical words of wonder and darkness, and fairy tales of happily ever after romance.
