The event promises to transform Mundijong Oval into a kaleidoscope of colour, with an array of activities, amusements, stalls and live entertainment on offer.
Attendees will enjoy a performance by local band Rhythm 22 and cooking demonstrations by former My Kitchen Rules contestants Daniela and Stefania.
Shire president Cr Bruce Moore is keen to involve other local businesses, craftspeople and performers.
‘We encourage those living and working locally to partner with the shire to deliver this event, which promises to be a fantastic event,’ he said.
Local residents are also invited to register their dog or other family pet in Byford Pet Centre’s Pets on Parade.
‘As a qualified vet, I am excited to be part of the judging panel for Byford Pet Centre’s Pets on Parade, and I am especially looking forward to judging for the ‘most Christmassy’ category,’ Cr Moore said.
The carnival is hosted by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale and sponsored by Golden Group and Comment News.
