THE issue of the immunisation of children against various diseases brings to mind the enforced medication by the introduction of fluoride to our water supply that the World Health Organization has never proved to be safe.
Our Premier at the time fluoride was introduced, John Tonkin, opposed it but he was overruled.
As a person born in the 30s and confined to the care of child welfare, I cannot recall being immunised.
I do remember the cure we had when some children came from outside with nits. Our carers had the best solution: put your head down, close your eyes and they would pour sheep dip over your head. The result was no nits.

So, we in the modern world have a choice, immunise or don’t; unless you can get a guarantee of perfect health.
