Footpath needed at shopping centre

Staff ReporterComment News

It is a welcome essential amenity to the surrounding community.

But what bewilders me is the lack of a footpath along Eighth Road linking the new shopping centre and Girrawheen Street.

This is the only stretch of Eighth Road that does not have a footpath and it is on the lead-up to a shopping centre.

There are many young and elderly people in this area, kids on bikes and mums with prams who would really benefit from a decent walkway.

C’mon Armadale council, lay one down there.
