No excuses

Staff ReporterComment News

IT does not surprise me that Gosnells topped the list for the most school zone speeding infringements (Street Watch, Comment News, February 11).

St Munchin’s Catholic Primary School is on Corfield Street, which is a four-lane speed track from Fremantle Road to the Dorothy Street/Southern River Road roundabout.

There are no traffic calming devices in that stretch of road, which is more than one kilometre in length.

Living in nearby Stalker Road, cars can be heard racing down and up Corfield Street at great speeds morning, noon and night.
