Park is precious

I WAS devastated to learn that Gosnells planners want to destroy a beautiful reserve (on the corner of Willow Way and Alcock Street) to make way for 18 houses.

It would mean chopping down some glorious flame trees and removing a children’s play area. It is also a convenient walk through to the shops and primary school.

In the rainy season, the reserve boasts those little frogs that live underground, called ‘moaning frogs’.

The planners seem hell-bent on filling every nook and cranny in Maddington.

There is so much building going on in our area; please leave the small parks as they are. If not, very soon we will be living in a concrete jungle.
