Prune earlier

For some of us who love to see the jacaranda mauve blooms every November, it seems a pity the ones under power lines cannot be pruned a little earlier so that they may still be able to bloom in November.

If this is not possible, why go on with the same old ways and think about planting shrubs that will not grow so much.
