THE use of “Questions of which due notice has been given” at City of Gosnells council meetings by Cr Glenn Dewhurst concerns me.
Sometime soon, there will be a vote at a meeting about the restoration of Wards in the City.
Is there a connection between Cr Dewhurst’s questions and this vote?
Are Cr Dewhurst’s questions, in effect, a tactic to get the mayor to step down, at least temporarily, with the aim of influencing the outcome of the vote on Wards?
Am I being too cynical?
