I THANK the very kind gentleman who took pity on me as I was standing outside the entrance to the Armadale Central shopping precinct as I was nearly in tears.
I had been waiting for an hour for a taxi, which I had originally ordered for noon.
I phoned back at 12.15, 12.30, 12.45 and I’d just finished another phone call at 1pm.

READ NOWI eventually got home at 1.35 only because the man gave me a lift.
I had also ordered a taxi the previous day to be picked up at home, which didn’t arrive.
As I have injured my knee, I can’t drive and I will be relying on taxis to get to the doctor and for hospital visits.
I am quite worried because I’m obviously going to have trouble getting there.
I am also really cross as there is apparently only one taxi service here in Armadale.
I’m wondering if anyone else has this problem or is it just me.
