Ugg boots founder Eddie Oygur must win trademark battle

EDDIE Oygur of the famed ugg boots name should be applauded for his stance against the US company Deckers over the trademark.

If Deckers do succeed and keep the name, then Deckers should be made to pay import duty of 35 per cent and this be given to Eddie.

Why should he not receive recompense after spending so much to protect his rights?

But knowing our weak-minded politicians, they will just turn the other way and ignore it.
