I CONGRATULATE Peter Hitchens on the letter he wrote headlined “Some planning”. I totally agree with all his comments.
I have also written a letter to Comment News pointing out the shortcomings of Mills Park along similar lines.
My wife told me the parking for the football was a disgrace and she had pity for the local residents.
With all the modern technology we have at our disposal when planning these facilities, how do they get it so wrong.
Do not try to let the children play on the grass after the latest rain we had. They will need a life jacket.
Drainage at this park and the park established at the new housing estate at the end of Streatham Street is poor.
The plants are dying because they are submerged in water.
These will need to be replaced at a cost to us, the ratepayers of Gosnells.
