AFL Draft: Perth Demons duo dream of being picked

The cream of the crop of AFL talent will hope to be drafted as part of the 2016 national draft, with Essendon holding the first overall pick.

Narkle was one of 12 West Australians invited to the 2016 AFL Draft Combine in October, where club recruiters got the opportunity to see the top talent being put to the test.

He had a strong AFL National 18s Championship playing in the midfield and in the forward line, with his best game coming against Victoria Metro, grabbing 17 possessions and kicking two goals.

If he misses selection, he may be picked up as part of the 2017 rookie draft , which will be held on November 28.

The Perth Demons are almost certain to have at least one player drafted with Zac Fisher rated as an almost certainty.
