Archery club aims for new members

The club caters for people over 50 years of age and members can shoot at its new venue in Passmore Street, Southern River.

Practice is each Monday from 8am to 11.30am.

Club spokesman Terry Hunt-Mills said the club hoped to lure more members.

‘Club equipment is available for loan for a trial period and trainers are available for coaching,’ he said.

‘Archery is a non-impact sport that can be played by almost anyone and varying bow strengths cater for people with different body strength.’
