Armadale kids, get your boots on for WAFC and City’s free multi-sport day

CHILDREN are invited to get active at the West Australian Football Commission’s (WAFC) and City of Armadale’s free multi-sport day this Thursday at Gwynne Park, Armadale.

There will be a number of different sports including football, basketball, netball, cricket, touch rugby and soccer and meet South Fremantle players Toby McGrath and Marlion Pickett.

A number of fun zones featuring bouncy castles, games, activities and information stalls will be set-up on the day thanks to City of Armadale, who will also provide a free lunch for all participants.

The event is part of the WAFC’s Nightfields Program, which was developed in early 2015 to involve disengaged and/or at-risk youth in football programs supported by a range of social support services.
