Bad day for local clubs as teams crumble in their semi-finals

In the first grade clash, Armadale took on Hilton. Armadale won the toss and batted, getting off to a great start thanks to Ryan Rawlins (25) and Rhys Jones (21).

But Armadale completely collapsed after tea, losing their last eight wickets for 38 to be all out for 107.

Armadale had Hilton 2-24 at stumps.

The third grade team took on Cockburn, won the toss and batted.

Carl Inness made 15 and David Drew 16 before Chris Quayle made a handy 26.

Armadale ended up with 95. Christian Furk took 3-32 but Cockburn passed the score with five wickets to spare.

Sixth grade started their clash with Leeming in good form.

Haydon Wilson took two wickets with only four runs on the board but Leeming rebuilt, and were 2-73 at tea, ending with 8-318.

In reply Joel Cumming made 29, while Harley Papalia (18) and Rhys Mackie (16no) chipped in as Armadale were dismissed for 95.

The one-day C side were knocked out after a great season as they went down to Maddington.
