PROFESSIONAL triathlete Renee Baker has finished 30th in the world at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships on the Sunshine Coast.
The Cecil Andrews Cecil Andrews Senior High School graduate completed the gruelling 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and 21km run in 4:59.58.
The fastest professional female overall was Great Britain’s Holly Lawrence who finished in a time of 4:09.12, which included the fastest run and bike split of all females.
Australia’s Melissa Hauschildt finished second for the women, while Canadian Heather Wurtele was third.
Australia’s Tim Reed was the fasted overall male with a time of 3:44.14.
Reed won the day by two seconds over Germany’s Sebastian Kienle and Swiss triathlete Ruedi Wild.
