Calling cricket coaches

Staff ReporterComment News

The program gives children with disabilities a chance to take part in a mainstream club and learn basic cricket skills, with a focus on fun and building confidence.

Coaches do not need experience as they receive program resources and training. The next 12-week program starts in November and the volunteer position is for one-and-a-half hours per week on Fridays, from 4.30-6pm at Sutherlands Park, Southern River.

Students from Year 10 up can also apply to be junior assistant coaches.
