GOLD Coast Suns forward and Kelmscott product Callum Ah Chee has enjoyed a solid start to his rookie year.

Ah Chee booted two two goals and had nine disposals in the Suns’ 19.12 (126) to 14.16 (100) win over the Fremantle Dockers last Saturday night.

Ah Chee was drafted with the number eight pick by the Suns and made his debut in their 61-point win over Essendon in round one.

He was a late call up for his first game, with his family arriving at 5am that morning before the clash against the Bombers.

The lively forward had eight disposals and booted his first ever goal in the second quarter.

The Suns have a chance to win their third game of the season when they face Carlton this weekend at home.
