Cricket: Armadale third grade unaffected by rain but no match for Jandakot Park

ARMADALE’S third grade cricket side were one of the few teams to hit the crease on a weather-affected Saturday.

Armadale won the toss and batted first against Jandakot Park at South Coogee Reserve.

It lost steady wickets throughout its 29.4 overs at the crease and were all out for 112.

Only three batsman made it to double figures with opener Michael Julien making 25 and number three Alexander Cumming top-scoring with 26.

Jandakot Park made it to 8-121 from 30 overs with Craig Carter finishing with the best bowling figures for Armadale taking 2-8.

Rhys Mackie was also impressive for Armadale taking 2-9 off six overs, including two maidens.
