Cricket: Serpentine-Jarrahdale announce award winners

THE Serpentine-Jarrahdale Blues cricket team announced their award winners for the 2015/16 season last weekend.

Kane Hoskin took out the cricketer of the year award, while Jaxsen Goodall was named junior cricketer of the year.

Tony Booth took out the batting aggregate award while Matthew Hillyard won the bowling aggregate and average trophies.

In the second grade, batting aggregate was topped by Damien Leipold, batting average by Dean Fulford, and bowling aggregate and average was won by Phillip Hicks, while Kane Hoskin won the fielding award.

In sixth grade, player of the year, batting aggregate and average went to Tony Booth, bowling aggregate and average to Matthew Hillyard and the fielding award went to Craig McGarry.

Aaron Atwell won the One Day C Grade player of the year, batting aggregate and average, while the bowling aggregate and average went to Steve Parkinson and the fielding award to Matthew Barnesby-Johnson.

The president’s award went to Lee Whittington, most promising player to Zane Atwell, best clubman to Paul Davidson and the duck award to Matthew Barnesby-Johnson.
