FORMER Perth Glory striker Steve McGarry believes it should be a good season for his old side.

Speaking from Southern River College where he was running a football training session with the students, McGarry said the Glory had recruited well and their depth should serve them through the season.

The Glory sits fourth on the A-league ladder with one win and one draw after defeating Wellington Phoenix 2-0 on the weekend.

“I think they will do pretty well, they have got a good squad,” he said.
