Football: Maddington Bulls score wins against Kenwick in all three grades

The young colts got off to a flyer with a 20-goal win and the reserves backed up last week’s effort with another 15-goal win.

The league game was hot from the start, with Kenwick playing strong tough football. The Maddington boys took a while to get used to the smaller ground and the strong pressure applied from Kenwick.

It was a close game all day, with Kenwick leading at quarter-time and Maddington at half and three-quarter time.

In the end, the Bulls pulled away for a solid six-goal win and sit on top of the ladder halfway through the season. Corey Wilson was outstanding in defence.
