Football: Maddington claim WAAFL C1 premiership with 6 point win over Stirling

MADDINGTON have taken out the C1 Grand final by six points in the WA Amateur Football League against Stirling at Atom Stadium on the weekend.

The Bulls were the form team of the competition throughout the year, finishing clear on top of the ladder with two losses from their 18 games.

They finished the season on a high, defeating Stirling 11.11 (77) to 11.5 (71).

Maddington dropped down a grade last year and set themselves up with a solid pre-season plan to win the premiership.
