After participating in Canning Vale’s free fitness sessions Step into Life, her fitness levels peaked and she competed in the HBF Fun Run last year.

Once again, in preparation for the HBF Run for a Reason, Step into Life has teamed up with HBF to run eight free weeks of fitness training throughout Perth suburbs.

The sessions have already started, but locals are still welcome to join in at either the Canning Vale or Willetton sessions.

Buchanan said the classes had changed her life and there was no excuse not to attend free fitness sessions.

‘The great thing about Step into Life training is the company and support of your team members,’ she said.

‘I ran the 14km HBF Run for a Reason with a friend Anita, who I met during the sessions and we encouraged each other during training, as well as during the race. ‘It was a wonderful feeling for us to cross the finish line together and to achieve our goal.’

Participants do not have to be training for the HBF Fun Run to attend and are able to come along without a registration form.

The sessions cater for all age groups and fitness levels. |For more information, visit hbfrun.com.au.
