Gosnells City FC bestows best and fairest on Josh Wade

JOSH Wade has capped a great season by winning Gosnells City FC’s fairest and best award.

Despite Gosnells finishing second last in Division 1 and its subsequent relegation play-off loss to Morley, Wade was consistently one of its best performers, and was rewarded for his stellar season.

Another of Gosnells’ standouts for the season, Wade Farmer, was voted players’ player by his teammates.

Sarah Hayes picked up Gosnells’ women’s team’s fairest and best award after she helped guide her side to fifth in the Women’s Metro Central Division.

Teammate Taylar Brunet claimed the team’s player’s player award.

Steve Baker won the men’s reserve fairest and best award, while Jacob Marino took out the players’ player award.

Meanwhile, Luke Della Posta and James Clark took home the Under-18’s fairest and best and players’ player awards respectively.
