The team was led by Gosnells all-rounder Michael Bailey, who was named captain of the all-stars side after he made 107 and took 16 wickets in the T20 tournament. He was the competition’s leading wicket taker.

Perth Scorchers rookie Hayden Collard (3-23), from Dowerin, was brilliant with the ball in the competition as WA kept NSW to 7-95.

Dane Ugle (29) and Aaron Muir (29) led the reply as WA won with one ball to spare, with Northam’s Bevan Bennell (13n.o.) at the crease for the win.

Earlier, WA claimed a thrilling five-wicket win over Northern Territory in the semifinals, with Collard taking three wickets and Bennell 33n.o.
